Natasha Brofsky, is the cellist of the Naumburg Award-winning Peabody Trio, which tours regularly throughout the U.S., Canada, and England, and has recorded for CRI, New World, and Artek. For nearly a decade, Natasha held principal positions in the Norwegian Radio Orchestra and the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra under Iona Brown. She is a former member of the String Trio Opus 3 and the Serapion Ensemble, and has performed as a guest with the Jupiter, Takács, Borromeo, Ying, and Norwegian Quartets, among others. Natasha Brofsky is on the cello faculty of the New England Conservatory and The Juilliard School and spends her summers performing and teaching at The Yellow Barn Festival in Putney, Vermont. She recently started the New York City chapter of Music for Food.
